We recently built and launched the new website for our long-term client, London Sperm Bank. As their previous website was built on an EOL Umbraco 7 which had its limitations, a full rebuild was required, providing plenty of opportunity for improvements for both the client and user.
During the design phase of the build, we worked closely with the Design Partner from initial briefing and wireframe creation up to the handover of the finished designs. We shared insight around aspects of the website’s future capabilities from mobile responsiveness to how the catalogue layout, resulting in a flexible design malleable to growth.
In addition to the visual makeover, functional additions and enhancements were central to the build. The London Sperm Bank team chose to integrate Salesforce as their CRM which has made significant improvements to their internal processing and administrative tasks. This integration syncs all donor demographic data to the website and an embedded application form feeds directly into Salesforce, enabling efficient lead management.
Furthermore, real-time syncing ensures information updates on the client’s Salesforce CRM are instantly reflected on the live site after publishing, giving users real time updates and totally accurate data.
We also delivered the integration of a new stock control platform that has enabled the ability to remotely manage stock, notify the team and customers with relevant updates and tracking, implement promotional opportunities and personalise the site experience using historical transactional data.
Finally, we integrated Signable into the checkout process for a more seamless transaction, benefiting customers and the LSB team, with GlobalPayments implemented to further ease each transaction.
Now, with improved functionality and comprehensive content, packaged up in a brand-new look, and built on the latest version of WordPress, the London Sperm Bank website ticks all the boxes. From slick automations helping with efficiency and productivity, to an elevated browsing and purchasing experience, this new website performs for our client, and their customer – the ultimate goal for any website build.
