Delicious marketing campaigns for Scotland's favourite pasta restaurant - Sugo Pasta

Glasgow has a magnificent food scene, and Sugo Pasta has proudly positioned itself as a jewel in the crown, garnering legions of devout pasta fanatics who just can’t get enough.

Involved from the brand's inception, our team have been hands-on from co-ordinating the launch event and branding the restaurant, to our ongoing relationship which sees us deliver web, digital content, advertising campaigns and influencer marketing.

A stylish brand with a buzzing atmosphere (and no, that's not just from the faint pulsing of their iconic neon sign). It's all about keeping it authentic, from ingredients and produce, to cooking methods and practices. We bare it all on their social media, with a striking style that reflects the sumptuous taste of every forkful.

After opening their doors in December 2019, they were sadly swiftly closed again due to the pandemic. A reviewed strategy and business model helped Sugo Pasta stay successful throughout, converting to - like many other hospitality ventures - a takeaway service. Additionally, we created Sugo at Home - an at-home-toolkit to cook some of your favourite Sugo Pasta dishes.

Following the reopening of the hospitality industry, Sugo Pasta, appreciating just how fortunate they'd been to remain in business throughout, wanted to mark their 2nd birthday in style, and have continued to do so every December since.

Each year, working with the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow, we deliver gift cards to both families welcoming a brand new member, and the staff that helped them get there. Giving them a small thank you, and a table on us.

Similar to their sister brand, Paesano Pizza, generosity is high on the list of Sugo’s qualities. And, in 2023, as they approached the grand old age of 4, they really wanted to push the boat out…or should we say plane? We launched a campaign giving Sugo Pasta lovers the chance to win a trip to the land of pasta, Rome.
